Class Description:
Using physical exploration, detailed sound analysis, and expert feedback from one of Nevada’s most qualified dialect coaches, Adriano Cabral. The workshop includes time on Oral Posture, Signature Sounds, and Prosody. The webinar will include a basic accent breakdown. Each workshop will run for approximately 60 minutes. All proceeds are donated to Reno Little Theater and a different local charity every month.
Adriano Cabral (Adi) is the assistant professor of voice and movement in the Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Nevada, Reno. Adi is a certified teacher of Fitzmaurice Voicework and Knight-Thompson Speechwork. They are also a certified Master Reiki Healer. As an actor, they have performed/trained around the world in the U.S., Japan, Colombia, and Indonesia. Previous RLT coaching credits include Sense & Sensibility, The Foreigner, Violet Sharp, and Steel Magnolias. Previous RLT acting credits include The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence, Calendar Girls, and Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind.
