
Our week-long theatre camps offer children the opportunity to explore their imaginations through creative play, theatre games, music, movement, arts and crafts, and children’s literature. These fun and friendly camps are perfect to help children develop self confidence, focus, and teamwork as they enhance creativity and problem-solving skills. Campers will perform a mini showcase at the end of each week for family and friends.

Summer Camps 2022
Miranda Musical Mania
June 13th- 17th, 2022

Kindergarten-2nd grade
What would happen if the characters from your favorite Lin Manuel Miranda musicals and movies found themselves in the same story? Using their body, voice and imagination, campers will discover how Mirabel, Vivo, and Moana might have to navigate a world in which their plotlines collide. Throw in some games, dancing, and singing and it’s sure to be an epic week!
3rd-6th grade
This week we will be diving into all things Lin Manuel Miranda. Campers will study the use of spoken word and rhythms in music, explore characters from In the Heights and learn the importance of not throwing away their shot. With lots of dancing and singing, it’s sure to be a fun-filled week.
Space Adventures

This camp is all about space, planets, aliens, and of course pirates! Through theatre games, character creation and scene study, campers will discover new worlds and create their own space adventure. Let’s stretch our creativity to infinity… and beyond.
3rd-6th grade
Long, long ago in a galaxy far, far away space pirates explore the outer boundaries of the galaxy to discover new and interesting quests throughout the great unknown. Using their body, voice, and imagination, campers will explore the outer limits of the universe to promote peace and hope and encouraging all to live long and prosper.
Spidey School
June 27th – July 1st, 2022

Grab your spidey silk and swing into the amazing world of Spider heroes! We will create artistic web creations and weave together hero stories. Hope your spidey sense is working and you find your way to this super camp!
3rd-6th grade
What if heroes from across the Multiverse joined forces? How would they fight for change? Altruistic action-lovers must band together to create their own adventure story and save the multiverse! Your superpowers—those real and those you dream of—serve as inspiration as you create a new, unique universe of heroes with amazing abilities.
Ministry of Magic

This spellbinding camp has been conjured to unlock your camper’s creativity and encourage their imagination to soar! Welcome to the magical world of wizards, witches, and magical creatures! Using well known witches and wizards as a guide, young campers will develop their own magical character and experience the day-to-day studies of becoming a full-fledged wizard! With theatre games, music, and dance, it’s sure to be a wickedly fun week!
3rd-6th grade
Calling all young witches and wizards! Come be sorted into theatre houses and practice your spells and potions. Improve your budding wizardry skills using the magic of drama and imagination! With daily studies of improvisation, story drama, and character creation, these campers will be well on their way to becoming full-fledged witches and wizards!
Underwater Odys-Sea
July 18th – 22nd, 2022

Explore the world below the surface in this underwater adventure camp. We’ll drift along like manatees, leap like dolphins, meet a mermaid or two, and maybe run into our friends Nemo and Dory! Campers will use their actors’ toolbox to explore everything the ocean has to offer!
3rd-6th grade
Let’s go jellyfishing, take a ride in a yellow submarine, explore the wonders of the octopus’s garden and grab a bite to eat in Bikini Bottom during this underwater camp. We will dive into theatre games, amazing crafts, and get our tentacles tapping to some tunes. No squid-ding around, it’s bound to be a fin-tastic time!
Spymasters

Do you like mysteries? Do you like to create disguises and play detective games? In this camp kids become cadets in a Spy Training Academy. Through theatre games, creative movement, visual arts, and music students will create their very own spy characters and collectively create their own murder mystery.
3rd-6th grade
Murder! Intrigue! Surprise Endings! Mysteries come in all forms. There are historical mysteries, folklore and then there is the classic Murder Mystery. During the week we will explore mysteries of all kinds and choose elements to re-create or use as a springboard to make up an exciting mystery play of our own.
The Madrigals
August 1st – 5th, 2022

Everyone is special! Everyone has a gift! What’s your special gift? In this camp, students will explore what their special gift is. Through theatre games, creative movement, visual arts, and music, these young artists will discover how gifted everyone is.
3rd-6th grade
Everyone working together towards a common goal decreases our “surface pressure.” Through theatre games, creative movement, music, and using their actor’s toolbox, students will learn that by working together, everyone’s star can shine bright without anyone burning out.

Education Refund Policy
There is a $50 non-refundable and non-transferable camp deposit.

Cancellation by a patron more than 2 weeks before a class/camp begins will result in a full refund, less the $50 deposit.

Cancellation by a patron within 1-2 weeks of a class/camp beginning will result in a class/camp credit, less the $50 deposit.

Cancellation by a patron 1 week or less before a class/camp begins will result in no refund or credit.
Exceptions will be considered for students with COVID-19 symptoms.
In the event that a camp needs to be cancelled due to COVID-19 exposures, families will be credited the prorated amount of the remaining camp days for use at future camps, classes, or tickets.

If Reno Little Theater cancels a class or camp, for any reason, you will be issued
