I’m sure you have heard that Governor Sisolak has moved Nevada into Phase 1 of reopening! That doesn’t mean a whole lot for the theater. We are still not allowed to open our venue, conduct camps or classes. The good news is that we will continue to create virtual programming and fun activities for you to participate in from the safety of your homes. We are also working on what it might look like when we are able to reopen. Maintaining social distancing will require changing many things in how we operate. We are working on plans for smaller audiences, smaller class and camp sizes, different space configurations, stronger sanitation protocols, and many other things. The safety of our audiences, students, and artists are our highest priority. It is a whole new world we are in but I know we will get there!
Meanwhile, we are continuing to work on our virtual play reading of Porridgegate by Charles Lovett to be aired on RLT’s Youtube Channel at the end of this month. I sure hope you will mark your calendars for that. It’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m also excited to say that we have plans for more virtual play readings in the future!
Don’t forget to check out and like our Facebook Page for our Education Program. I sure would love to see your kiddos posting their own performances of any of the fun activities given. You can also send them directly to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Stay Happy and Healthy

Now in honor of Mama’s everywhere, here’s a fun monologue to try
My mother says that when it comes to people, there are two kinds of beautiful. There are people who are beautiful on the outside, and people who are beautiful on the inside. She says that if you’re beautiful on the outside, it’s easier for you to get what you need. But if you’re beautiful on the inside, it’s easier to help other people get what they need. I guess my mom couldn’t decide what beautiful she wanted to be, so she picked both.
