RLT is proud to host Lenny Leibowitz, founding Artistic Director of Marvell Repertory Theatre in NYC for 2 FREE Professional Development Workshops.
LENNY LEIBOWITZ is a director with many years of experience directing highly regarded productions Off-Broadway and at the nation’s finest regional theaters. He founded Marvell Repertory Theatre, New York’s only company devoted to producing new and enduring works in rotating repertory, in 2010 and continues to serve as its Artistic Director. Before that, he was Artistic Director of New Harmony Theatre, a LORT-D company in Indiana. He was a beloved faculty member at Boston University’s School of Fine Arts (2004-2006) and University of Southern Indiana (2006-2010), and has also taught young actors and musicians at Stage Door Manor, Camp Farwell, Boston University Summer Theatre Institute, and the Heifetz International Music Institute. Lenny recently joined the faculty of Otterbein University’s prestigious BFA program. He has directed and coached stars of Broadway, television, and film, including Dane DeHaan, Jean Louisa Kelly, Joy Franz, Lorraine Serabian, Chris Kipiniak, Ken Tigar, Erin Stewart, Rita Harvey, Evgeniya Radilova, and Susan Derry, among many others. www.lennyleibowitz.com

Shakespeare is not advanced, but fundamental. By making the language language, by finding the clues in the verse, Shakespeare himself begins to direct using the language as a medium for contact. If you can direct or act Shakespeare, you can direct or act anything!
All workshops are FREE and open to the public & will be held in RLT’s Rehearsal Hall at 246 Arroyo St.
