Hi Parents!

Welcome to what is fast becoming the new normal!  I hope you are all still practicing safe distancing protocols and remaining healthy and happy in your homes. I know we are all longing to see all our friends and go to gatherings and parties and all that fun stuff. I know my daughter is aching to have a sleepover with her bestie! We will get there my friends but we must remain patient. RLT Education is here with some more fun lined up to ease your boredom blues.

Tongue Twisters

  1. Friday’s Five Fresh Fish Specials.
  2. What a to-do to die today, at a minute or two to two;

a thing distinctly hard to say, but harder still to do.

For they’ll beat a tattoo, at a quarter to two with a

             a rat-tat-tat- tat-tat-tat- tat-tat-tattoo

and the dragon will come when he hears the drum

at a minute or two to two today, at a minute or two to two.

Writing Exercise

Instead of a monologue this week, I thought it would be fun to write your own story.

Take a look at this photo and answer the questions below

  1. Where is this?
  2. Who owns the car?
  3. Does the car still run?
  4. What happened 5 minutes ago?
  5. Write a half-page story about the owner of the car

Stay Safe and Healthy,

La Ronda Etheridge

Education Coordinator
